Mount Damavand 2018 – From Sea Level to 5,671 Metres in One Go
From sea level up to 5.671 meters above sea level with a distance of 130 km – with one push
In April Benedikt ventured a unique project which lead him to a foreign world and took him to his absolute performance limit.
"The Damavand was so far my toughest nonstop speed action ‘from sea to summit’! 6000 meters of hight in one push, far more than 100 km and first of all the hight over 5.600 meters stressed me out. But in the end I was after 14,5 hours alone at the summit. When I was sitting in the office in Munich the next day at 10 am I could hardly comprehend what happened the day before."
